👋Hi there, I'm Sudip

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Cancer & Genomic Sciences at the University of Birmingham, where I develop advanced computational and AI-driven approaches to analyse and integrate complex multi-omics datasets, including Proteomics, transcriptomics, and microbiome data.

My research focuses on applying statistical modelling, machine learning, and deep learning techniques to uncover biological mechanisms and identify causal drivers of complex diseases, with a particular emphasis on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and colorectal cancer. I work extensively with large-scale datasets, building scalable data pipelines and integrative frameworks to generate meaningful biological insights.

My work bridges computational biology, data engineering, and clinical research, with a strong emphasis on developing robust, reproducible, and scalable analytical frameworks for biomedical data.

🌱 I’m currently acquiring proficiency in various aspects of RNA-seq data analysis, single-cell analysis, multi-omics data integration, and the integration of machine learning (ML) and deep learning methodologies.
